In the hydrometallurgical pressure leaching process, the high-temperature and high-pressure pulp discharged from the autoclave needs to be depressurized and cooled through a flash tank before solid-liquid separation. The regulating Angle valve at the feed port of the flash tank is responsible for controlling the liquid level and flow rate. The working conditions are extremely harsh: the pulp temperature can reach 150-250℃, the pressure is 0.73-4.1MPa, the solid content is 30%-40%, and at the same time, it is accompanied by strong corrosion (high concentration of chloride ions and fluoride ions), high wear, flash vapor corrosion, and easy crystallization and blockage problems. The service life of conventional valves under this working condition is only 2 to 6 months, which is the core bottleneck restricting the long-term operation of the production line.
