The research and development project of the core equipment for hydrometallurgy - flash steam valve and wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant ball valve, led by the German company W&T and jointly tackled by several relevant Chinese units and universities, has achieved a complete success!

This breakthrough has achieved three major technological milestones:

1. Breaking the technological monopoly: The project team has overcome 12 key technical bottlenecks, including the corrosion resistance of materials under extreme working conditions and the control of flash fluids. The products have passed strict tests by the Russian side and fully met the standards, marking that China has achieved independent control in the field of special valves.

2. Collaborative innovation among industry, academia and research institutions: Through joint research and development by upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, innovative adoption of new silicon carbide-based composite materials, multi-stage vacuum flash evaporation structures, and intelligent surface strengthening technologies is achieved to extend the service life.

3. Serve the construction of China's "Belt and Road Initiative"

The first batch of valve sets delivered to a large smelting plant in Russia have been stably operating for over 2,880 hours under the condition of dilute sulfuric acid at 210℃, and have received high recognition from relevant customers in the international market. This breakthrough not only fills the technological gap in China, but also drives the upgrading of supporting industrial chains such as special materials and precision processing. Let's give a thumbs-up to "Made in China"!
