In April 2026, W&T brand valves were successfully applied to the EPC project of the first phase of the industrial steam supply renovation of Guoneng Lingwu by Guoneng Energy Conservation Technology Co., LTD., providing key alloy valve equipment for this project. The smooth implementation of this project once again confirms Viti's technical strength and project execution ability in the field of high-temperature and high-pressure valves for power stations.

 Project Overview: Heating renovation with an installed capacity of 3,200MW

Guoneng Lingwu Power Plant is located in Lingwu City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The first phase of the project is equipped with 2×600MW subcritical direct air-cooled units (put into operation in 2007), and the second phase consists of 2×1000MW ultra-supercritical direct air-cooled units (put into operation from 2010 to 2011), with a total installed capacity of 3,200MW.

This renovation project involves the heating transformation of two 1000MW ultra-supercritical air-cooled units in the second phase. It is planned to extract steam from the reheating section of each unit, and after temperature and pressure reduction, provide heating to the outside. After the renovation, it will provide more stable and efficient industrial and civil heat sources for Yinchuan City and its surrounding areas.

Harsh working conditions: 608℃ high temperature, 5.67MPa high pressure, P92 material. The valves supplied this time are facing extremely harsh working conditions:

The operating temperature can reach up to 608℃, far exceeding the main steam parameters of conventional subcritical units (approximately 540℃). The piping material selected is A335P92 - this is the standard material for high-temperature steam pipes in current ultra-supercritical units, featuring excellent high-temperature creep fracture strength and oxidation resistance. The valve is required to be forged as a whole and forging-welded structures are not allowed. The purpose is to eliminate casting defects through forging processes, ensure the continuous and complete distribution of metal fibers, and fundamentally guarantee the pressure-bearing safety of the valve under high temperature and high pressure.

The valve equipment supplied by Vito this time includes:

    Electric shut-off valve (2 units per unit) : Reheat hot section steam extraction shut-off, made of F92 material integral forged gate valve, full bore design, bidirectional sealing with zero leakage

    Pneumatic check valve (1 unit per unit) : Prevents steam backflow. The air is open and the spring is closed. Closing time ≤0.5 seconds

    Hydraulic quick-closing regulating valve (1 unit per unit) : Three-eccentric metal hard-sealed butterfly valve, featuring dual functions of regulation and quick shut-off, with a closing time of less than 0.8 seconds and a sealing grade of API 598 Class VI

The above configuration includes a total of 8 key valves for two units, all of which are designed, material selected, manufactured and tested in accordance with international standards such as ASME, API, ASTM and German DIN.

1. German technological heritage + manufactured in Russian factories

Viti technology's bloodline can be traced back to Germany in 1932. The core components of the valves supplied this time are manufactured by the Russian factory, strictly adhering to German process standards and quality control systems. 2. F92 material and overall forging process

The valve body of this project is integrally forged from F92 material. Viti has mature manufacturing experience in F92/F91 series high-temperature alloy steel valves and has established complete technical specifications in key processes such as forging, heat treatment, and surfacing welding. The material of the internal components of the valve is the same as that of the valve body. The pre-tightening bolts of the valve cover and the packing bolts are all designed with high-temperature strength and high-temperature oxidation resistance in mind. The sealing surface is surfacing with Stellite alloy to ensure the sealing reliability under long-term high-temperature operation.

3. Quick-closing regulating valve: Three eccentric zero leakage + electro-hydraulic linkage

The hydraulic quick-closing regulating valve adopts a three-eccentric metal hard-sealed butterfly valve structure and has bidirectional zero leakage sealing capability (API 598 Class VI). The electro-hydraulic linkage actuator is equipped with an independent oil station (dual pumps + oil filtration system + cooling system), featuring complete functions such as rapid closing (<0.8 seconds), valve opening under pressure, oil circuit self-locking, and shock absorption and buffering. It also has a valve activity test function to prevent jamming under long-term high-temperature fully open conditions.

4. Full life cycle service

Vitai promises to provide full life-cycle services from installation guidance, commissioning and operation to long-term operation and maintenance. The product warranty period is implemented in accordance with the business agreement. After-sales service will respond within 24 hours and arrive at the site within 36 hours.
