Project Overview: Heavy-duty Gas Turbine Demonstration Project in Shandong Province

The Huaneng Tai 'an Gas Turbine Project is located in the Dawenkou Industrial Park, Dayue District, Tai 'an City. It is planned to build two 9F-class "one-to-one" gas-steam combined cycle units, with a total installed capacity of approximately 1 million kilowatts. As a demonstration project of heavy-duty gas turbines in Shandong Province and the first heavy-duty gas turbine project in Tai 'an City, the total investment of the project amounts to 2.4 billion yuan. The net efficiency of the combined cycle can reach 62%, and the energy efficiency is 40% higher than that of traditional coal-fired units. It has the dual advantages of efficient power generation and clean heating.
After the project is put into operation, it will effectively enhance the peak shaving capacity of the regional power grid, enrich the peak shaving resources of the Shandong power grid, and at the same time reduce emissions and energy consumption from the source, injecting new impetus into the green transformation of Tai 'an's energy structure and the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of the entire province.
