【 Good News 】 Viti has successfully signed a contract for the steam extraction check valve project of the heating renovation of Huadian Jiangling Power Plant

Recently, Viti Fluid Control Co., Ltd. successfully signed a contract for the heating system renovation project of Hubei Huadian Jiangling Power Generation Co., Ltd. and will provide key pneumatic check valve equipment for this project. This is another significant achievement that Viti has made within the Huadian Group system, fully demonstrating the company's comprehensive strength and market competitiveness in the field of power station heating renovation.

Project Overview: Heating upgrade for 660MW-class units

Hubei Huadian Jiangling Power Generation Co., Ltd. is located in Hubei Province. This heating system renovation project involves two units, aiming to enhance the heating capacity of the units and meet the regional heat load demand. The renovation project takes steam from the extraction system, and after temperature and pressure reduction, it provides heat to the outside. This places extremely high demands on the reliability, safety and rapid response capability of the valves.

The pneumatic check valve supplied by Viti for this project features an integral forged valve body made of F92 material and is equipped with a W&T brand pneumatic actuator, which has the ability to quickly and forcibly close.

Extraction check valve: The "Lifeline" of Steam turbines

The steam extraction check valve is the most crucial safety protection device in the heating renovation of thermal power units. When the unit is unloaded or trips due to an accident, the high-pressure steam in the extraction pipeline may flow back into the steam turbine in the opposite direction, causing overspeed or water shock - these are the two most serious accidents of steam turbines.

The function of the steam extraction check valve is to forcibly close at the moment of an accident (in milliseconds), blocking the reverse flow path and protecting the safety of the steam turbine body.

The Viti steam extraction check valve has the following core advantages:

• Forced closing mechanism: The pneumatic actuator works in coordination with the spring, and the closing time is ≤0.5 seconds
