The WTIP intrinsically safe positioner provided by Viti Industry is a digital field device that adopts a highly integrated microprocessor. Its position detection system and control unit can both be connected separately.
The measurement of stroke and Angle can be directly carried out on the actuator to control terminal control elements such as pneumatic linear or angular stroke actuators. The electrical positioner drives the actuator to the valve position corresponding to the set point. The additional input function can be used to lock the valve position or drive the valve to a safe position. To achieve this function, a digital input channel has been integrated as a standard configuration in the base product.
